Obachi
Specifies the top section of the Ozutsu, not the sides or the bottom.
Obire

Obizumi
Belt sumi. Thin, long and square like obi (belt).
Ochibashigure
Autumn leaves on the water, a grey koi with a brown pattern.
Odome
Line between the last color and shiroji on the tail section. Odome is the way the pattern appears as it stops or finishes in the tail section. Last marking before the tail.
Ogon
Golden. Collective name for metallic koi.
Ohaku
Same as Icho and Kiiba
Ohzumi
Relatively large sumi.
Oiboshi
White bumps that appear on the cheek and pectoral fins of the male Nishikigoi mating season. The sexual characteristics are appealing to female Nishikigoi.
Oiya
Broodstock.
Ojime
Gap between the last pattern marking and the tail.
Ojiya City
The birthplace in Niigata of Nishikigoi.
Okute
Late bloomer
Omoyo
Deep wrapping pattern.
Oni Uroko
Large, dark scales running down back of shusui.
Orenji
Orange.
Orenji Ogon
Ogon that have orange metallic skin.
Otomo
Companion koi during shipping.
Ougi
It is a Japanese style fan that is used to means Nishikigoi patterns or pectoral fins because they look alike.
Oyabone
The thickest bone in the fins. The bone that is closest to the head. Ideally should be white.
